What is Pixisnap?
Pixisnap is a fun application that will turn your ordinary pictures to a lavishing photo mosaic or a set of artistic Polaroid pictures. Pixisnap will let you add life, color, and creativity to all your boring pics in a snap!
What can I do with Pixisnap?
With Pixisnap, you can create a: (a) photo mosaic, where your photo is made up of several smaller pictures; and (b) a set of Polaroid pictures, where your photo is composed of tiled Polaroid frames.
Do I need to register to make a photo mosaic or Polaroid pictures?
No, you dont necessarily need to register to make photo mosaics or Polaroid pictures. You can simply create one right away. You need to be registered and logged in to the site, however, if you like to save your Pixisnap pictures to the site.

- Upload your primary photo.
- Click on the photo mosaic image when asked to choose the type of mosaic you want to create.
- Select the size of your mosaic.
- Start uploading or choosing the pictures that would make up your photo mosaic. Your pictures can be from your computer, the Pixisnap gallery or your Flicker album.
- Customize your photo mosaic further by choosing an image contrast.
- That's it! Your photo mosaic is done and ready to be set as your desktop wallpaper or Myspace background!

What is a Primary Photo?
Your primary photo is the picture that you'd like to turn into a mosaic or a set of Polaroid pics.
Is there a maximum size limit for the primary photo?
Yes, there is. Your primary photo should not be more than 3MB in size.
Why can't I upload a primary photo?
Most probably, your primary photo exceeded the maximum size limit allowed which is 3MB. You can resize your picture to be of smaller size or simply choose another picture that you can set as a primary photo.
What is an image URL?
Image URL is the location of a picture on the Internet. It's format is http://www.pixisnap.com/photo-mosaic/sample-image.jpg.
What image sizes are available for Pixisnap pictures?
You can create a photo mosaic and a Polaroid picture for the following sizes: 800 x 600, 1024 x 768, 1280 x 1024, and 1600 x 1200. If you're not sure what size to choose, you can always select the default image size which is auto.
Why can't I view a profile?
Some users set their profile private so as not to be seen by anybody.

Can I upload my own pictures for photo mosaic?
Yes, you can. Simply browse through your pictures from your PC and upload them one by one.
How many pictures can I use for my photo mosaic?
You can upload up to 20 pictures for your photo mosaic.
Is there a maximum size limit for the photo mosaic pictures?
Yes, there is. Your pictures should not be more than 3MB in size.

What is Pixisnap gallery? Can I use pictures from it for my photo mosaic?
Pixisnap gallery is a collection of random pictures that you can make use when creating a photo mosaic. You can even mix some of them with your personal pictures.
Can I import my pictures from Flickr to Pixisnap and use them for my photo mosaic?
Yes. If you have a Flickr account, you can use your pictures saved on it for your photo mosaic here on Pixisnap. Simply, log-in your account details and choose the album and/or pictures you'd like to use.
How do I change the color contrast of my photo mosaic?
Simply choose from the options given on the preview of your photo mosaic.
Can I change the background color of my Polaroid pictures?
Yes. Simply choose the background color you'd like for your Polaroid pictures.
Can I choose a background design for my Polaroid pictures?
Yes. If you don't like plain colors as background for your Polaroid pictures, you can choose from the default templates of background designs.
Can I edit the background design of my Polaroid pictures?
No. But we'll try to work on it so you can make a background design exactly the way you want.

What can I do with my finished Pixisnap picture?
You can set your photo mosaic or Polaroid picture as your desktop wallpaper or Myspace background. You can also save your Pixisnap pictures on your Pixisnap account (if you are registered) or on your computer for printing.
How do I set my Pixisnap picture as my desktop wallpaper?
Once you're done with your Pixisnap picture, click on the desktop wallpaper icon/button to set it as wallpaper on your computer.
How do I use my Pixisnap picture as my Myspace background?
Once you're done with your Pixisnap picture, click on the Myspace background icon/button. Customize it further by choosing a background color and settings.
To install your Pixisnap picture on your Myspace account as background, get the code and copy and paste it on the About Me section of your profile.
Can I save my Pixisnap picture on my account?
Yes, as long as you're registered and logged in to the site. In case you're not logged in and you have already finished your Pixisnap picture, you will be prompted to log in to be able to save your work.
Can I save my Pixisnap picture on my computer?
Yes. Simply right click on your finished Pixisnap picture, select save as, and type in a filename for your work. That's it! Your Pixisnap picture is already saved on your computer for later use.
Can I print my Pixisnap picture?
Of course! After saving to your computer, you can open your Pixisnap picture on any photo editor program to print it

Why can't I log in to my account?
You must have mistyped your username or password. Please make sure you have entered your correct log-in details. If you forgot your password, click on the forgot password link and we'll send you your Pixisnap password.
How do I edit my account?
While logged in, click on EDIT PROFILE button and make changes on the profile items you'd wish to edit. Click on SAVE button to save all changes you made.
How do I make my profile private/public?
You can change you preference status from public to private or vice versa on the Edit Profile section of your account.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, you can delete your Pixisnap account by clicking on the DELETE ACCOUNT button on the Edit Profile section of your account.
If I delete my account, will my photo mosaics and Polaroid pictures be deleted as well?
Yes, all your Pixisnap pictures will also be removed when you delete your account. Your photos will no longer be available on the site.
